2027: ONE TOUCH FOR TINUBU – NO RETREAT, NO SUBSTITUTE
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors [RHA], Ghana Chapter, a diaspora policy think tank committed to democratic continuity and structural reform in Nigeria, today declared unequivocal support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

At an emergency political strategy session in Accra, the Chapter resolved that anything short of a second term for Tinubu is a national self-sabotage. The reforms underway are too consequential to be handed over to political tourists and recycled failures.
The Chapter commended the biggest and largest political party in Africa, All Progressives Congress (APC) for imposing internal discipline on a political class addicted to rent-seeking. For the first time in a decade, Nigeria has a presidency willing to kill sacred cows instead of feeding them. And it is delivering results.
Dr. Oscar Ugoh, National Chairman, RHA Ghana, stated what President Bola Tinubu has already broken and fixed.
“President Tinubu did what 3 administrations lacked the political capital to do in one year. He pulled the plug on the N4 trillion/year fuel subsidy scam, collapsed the FX arbitrage bazaar, and forced state governors to account for FAAC allocations. That is not ‘reform’. That is political warfare against the elite cartel.”
Key achievements of President Bola Tinubu are too numerous to mention such as but not limited to the following
– Subsidy & FX: Ended the $10bn/year drain and multiple exchange rate racket that enriched middlemen while crippling the naira.
– Fiscal Federalism: Supreme Court-backed local government autonomy. No more governors sitting on LG funds.
– Student Loans: NELFUND is operational. 200,000+ students now have access to interest-free loans. No more education reserved for the rich.
– Infrastructure Push: Renewed Hope Infrastructure Corps is delivering on Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Abuja-Kaduna-Kano rail, and power grid stabilization.
– Digital Economy: 3MTT and NITDA expansion are positioning Nigeria to export tech talent, not just crude.
– Foreign Policy: Nigeria is back at the ECOWAS table with weight. Ghana-Nigeria trade and security coordination is tighter than it has been in 8 years.
Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Alabi, Vice Chairman, RHA Ghana Chapter, said,
“Reforms this deep don’t mature in 4 years. Tax harmonization, security sector overhaul, rail privatization, and subsidy reinvestment are 8-year projects. Handing the keys back to the opposition in 2027 is how you guarantee policy reversal, capital flight, and a return to subsidy looting. Tinubu’s second term is not about Tinubu. It’s about preventing Nigeria from going back to autopilot failure.”
According to the National Chairman and Leader, Dr Oscar Sam Ugoh,
“2027 is a choice between consolidation and collapse. Between a president who fights the system and a system that eats presidents. To Nigerian professionals, traders, students, and the diaspora: this is your moment to lock in continuity. We are calling for a one-touch, no-contest victory. Anything less is a win for the parasites who lost access to the treasury.”
“To the noise-makers and political jobbers: sit down. Nigerians are done with trial-and-error leadership. Renewed Hope is not a slogan. It’s a battle plan. And we’re seeing it executed.”
The resolution was adopted unanimously by RHA Ghana Chapter leadership and membership.
