In a landmark move, President John Dramani Mahama will today launch a novel set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Ambassadors at the Ambassadors Conference, Orientation of New Envoys & Launch of Novel KPIs.
The event, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take place under the theme “Harnessing the Dividends of Diplomacy for Ghana’s Reset Agenda”.
This historic initiative marks a significant shift in Ghana’s diplomatic efforts, as Ambassadors will now be equipped with a measurable performance framework to support the President’s Reset Vision for Ghana. The introduction of KPIs for Ambassadors is a bold step towards ensuring that Ghana’s diplomatic missions are aligned with the country’s development goals and the reset agenda.
By setting clear targets and benchmarks, Ambassadors will be able to focus on delivering tangible results that contribute to the nation’s progress. The Reset Vision, spearheaded by President Mahama, aims to drive Ghana’s socio-economic development and improve the lives of its citizens. With the new KPIs, Ambassadors will play a critical role in advancing this vision, promoting Ghana’s interests abroad, and fostering international cooperation.
The conference will provide a platform for Ambassadors to engage with the President and other stakeholders, discuss the new KPIs, and explore ways to effectively implement them.
This initiative is expected to enhance the performance and accountability of Ghana’s diplomatic missions, ultimately contributing to the country’s development and prosperity.
