The race for leadership within the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has officially begun following the successful completion of the vetting and balloting processes for national executive positions.
In a statement released by the PRINPAG Election Committee on Friday, July 25, 2025, all eleven aspirants who presented themselves for vetting were given a clean bill of health to contest in the upcoming elections. The committee described the exercise as smooth and commended the candidates for demonstrating “commendable readiness, competence, and professionalism.”
The Election Committee, chaired by Lawyer Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie, affirmed that all aspirants met the required criteria and were thus duly qualified to contest for their respective positions. The vetting was immediately followed by balloting to determine the positions of candidates on the ballot paper.
