MTN Ghana has notified customers of a temporary service disruption preventing data bundle purchases on July 1, 2025.
The issue arose during the implementation of a new 15% bonus data volume offer, causing system-wide limitations.
In an official statement, MTN’s Corporate Communications Department apologized for the inconvenience, acknowledging the impact on connectivity.
Technical teams are urgently working to restore services,” the statement said.
Customers were advised to await further updates while repairs continue.
The disruption coincides with Ghana’s rollout of modified tax policies, though no direct link was confirmed. MTN emphasized its commitment to resolving the issue promptly.
