PwC Ghana formally announces the retirement of George Kwatia, Tax Leader, effective 30 June 2021.
George Kwatia began his career with PwC, formerly Price Waterhouse on March 1, 1998. He joined the partnership in 2010 and was also the Mining Leader for PwC’s West Market Area.
George has contributed immensely to the growth and development of our firm over the last 23 years,” Vish Ashiagbor, PwC Ghana Country Senior Partner said.

Ayesha Bedwei Ibe will succeed Kwatia as PwC’s Tax Leader effective July 1, 2021.

Joining the tax leadership will also be Lydia Pwadura, a partner who returns to PwC Ghana after six years at PwC Zambia, where she co-led the firm’s tax practice.
