Meta’s social media platforms are currently not working, with both Instagram and Facebook pulling up “failure to load” error pages.
DownDetector reported over 461,000 outages at 10:37 a.m., although that number has now dropped. Instagram also had over 25,000 reported outages at 10:51 a.m., but at its peak, over 70,000 people were affected.
Apps also appear to be affected.
On Your Side has reached out to Meta for information on the outage.
