In a statement, the company commended President John Dramani Mahama for what it described as a “bold, timely, and decisive intervention” following the recent floods.

As Ghana’s foremost waste management company, Zoomlion said it is activating its *nationwide operational network after discussions with the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Zoomlion… is immediately activating its nationwide operational network and placing all its regional, district, and municipal offices, together with its extensive fleet of equipment, logistics, and skilled personnel, to support Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), and the affected communities,” the company stated.
For the two-day exercise, Zoomlion will deploy:
– Sanitation personnel for coordinated clean-up activities

The company added that its operations may extend beyond the two days “where necessary” to ensure affected communities are fully restored.

Call to Action
Zoomlion said the floods are a reminder that sanitation is a “shared national responsibility” and urged all Ghanaians to take part.
We therefore urge all residents, community leaders, businesses, institutions, and civil society organisations to actively participate in the exercise. Together, we can restore our communities, protect public health, and build a cleaner, more resilient Ghana.”
The company concluded that it remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable environmental sanitation solutions that improve lives, protect ecosystems, and support national development, and called for all and sundry to support the President’s call
Together, let us answer the President’s call. Let us clean our communities, protect our environment, and safeguard our future.
