Maxwell Arthur, Senior Specialist Segment Marketing, who announced this at a media encounter to give details of the promo said “every pesewa spent on the network is rewarded with a point.”

MTN Ghana is spending close to GHS10 million to reward customers as part of the 25th anniversary celebration,” he noted.

The promotion is based on usage where participants accrue points via revenue-generating activities such as voice, data, SMS, digital, Value Added Service (VAS), and mobile money transactions where fees are charged.

In line with MTN’s strategic intent for 2021 which is leading digital solutions for Africa’s progress, promo points are skewed towards revenue-generating activities performed on digital platforms when a customer selects option 5 after dialing *156#.

We see the 25th-anniversary celebration as an opportunity to renew our commitment, recognise and appreciate our customers, and reward them for their value and tenure,” Arthur added.
