MTN shares are most traded on GSE
MTN Ghana shares is currently the number one most traded stock on the Ghana Stock Exchange over the past three months (May 21 – Aug 19, 2021).
MTNGH has traded a total volume of 69.2 million shares valued at GHS 81.8 million over the period, with an average of 1.1 million traded shares per session.
A volume high of 7.67 million was achieved on June 9th for the same period.

Touting the performance of the company on the GSE during this year’s MTN’s editor’s forum on Friday August 20, 2021, the Chief Executive Officer of the MTN, Selorm Adadevor, said MTN stock represents close to 80% of trading on the GSE.
He however noted that MTN is looking forward to seeing more companies join the narrative.

We are looking forward to see more companies join,” he said.
He added that the leading telecom company will not relax following this achievement rather, they will continue to look for opportunities to improve on what they do.
