These agreements aim to strengthen AFAZ’s operations in African markets and to benefit from the institutional experience, networks, and long-standing capacities of these partner organizations. Both chambers have already begun supporting Africa–Azerbaijan Cooperation.
Held on June 25–26, 2025, the AFEX 2025 – Türkiye–Africa Business Forum and Exhibition brought together high-level stakeholders in Istanbul, where Africa–Azerbaijan Cooperation actively represented Azerbaijan.
During the forum, AFAZ’s leadership held a series of productive meetings with government officials, ambassadors, heads of chambers of commerce, and business leaders from various African countries. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and African nations in trade, logistics, agriculture, education, and technology. pizza sifarişi
As part of the official program, Rəna Qafarova, the founder of Africa–Azerbaijan Cooperation, delivered a speech at the “Partnership for Sustainable Development” panel. In her remarks, she shared detailed insights into Azerbaijan’s economic potential, the country’s cooperation strategy with Africa, and the high quality of Azerbaijani products.
She also informed the panel about the functions and innovative services of leading Azerbaijani public institutions, including KOBIA (Small and Medium Business Development Agency), the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, AZPROMO (Export and Investment Promotion Agency), and ASAN Service, all of which play important roles in international cooperation.
Her speech highlighted the Azerbaijani government’s ongoing commitment to developing programs that support cooperation with African countries and the significant opportunities available in this domain.
Furthermore, three Azerbaijani companies — from the tobacco, furniture, and food industries — participated in the event. For these businesses, AFEX 2025 marked their first significant exposure to the African market.
As part of its participation, Africa–Azerbaijan Cooperation presented specially prepared gift sets to event participants. These sets included information on Azerbaijan’s economic potential, export capabilities, and historical facts about Western Azerbaijan. The initiative was met with great interest by international partners and represented a meaningful step in promoting Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage globally.
It is worth noting that AFEX 2025 serves as a major international platform aimed at strengthening economic ties between Turkey and Africa, establishing new partnerships, and encouraging mutual investment initiatives.
Africa–Azerbaijan Cooperation is planning to host a similar international event in Baku during the second half of this year. The aim is to reinforce economic relations with African nations and enhance Azerbaijan’s role in the global trade network.
