World Trade Centre Accra engages 13 global partners to explore opportunities, benefits and trends of Africa’s economy
The World Trade Centre Accra (WTC Accra) is collaborating with 13 other key partners from around the world and a faculty of leading experts, innovators, researchers and companies to conduct a webinar under the topic: “Africa and the Circular Economy: Opportunities, Benefits and Trends” on the 15th October, 2020.
The webinar will be a knowledge-sharing and B2B/B2G networking platform which will expose governments and companies in Africa to the concept of Circular Economy, where resources are kept in use for as long as possible with an emphasis on reuse and regeneration, as well as its advantages over the linear economy where products are made, used and disposed.

The webinar will demonstrate new, sustainable and profitable business models based on the Circular Economy
and build the capacity of governments on how to promote successful business models around some of their biggest challenges.
The Africa and the Circular Economy Webinar will present content along the following thematic areas: Water and environmental control, Renewable energy, Agriculture and food processing, Packaging and plastics, General manufacturing and industry, Green building and infrastructure, Automobile and logistics and Oil and gas.
It will host conference sessions as well as sectorial B2B Deal Rooms to facilitate exchange of commercial opportunities between participants. Entities seeking to establish new businesses based on the circular economy will gain valuable insights into viable options whiles existing companies can acquire new knowledge on how to engineer their business processes to promote circularity and enhanced sustainability by participating in this webinar.
