Gloria Mensah, a level 300 student at UCC, whose hostel is located near Amamoma  dumpsite, said the nuisance from the dumpsite has been very unbearable especially when it rains sometimes affecting their ability to go for lectures due to the messy nature of the surroundings.

Apart from the usual stench that we battle with daily, when it rains, it becomes difficult to go to lectures because the whole place is messy,” she lamented.

Ama Ntim, a resident who express satisfaction over the exercise, prayed that other residents will follow the rules in disposing off their refuse after the evacuation exercise.
