On behalf of Government, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, together with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, on Tuesday, 30th September 2025, presented a donation of GHS 150,000, packs of drinks, bottled water, and a bull to the Shai Traditional Council in support of this year’s Ngmayem Festival.
The donation was warmly received by the chiefs and elders of the Council. In their response, the leadership of the Traditional Council expressed profound appreciation to the Regional Minister, the DCE, and Government for their continuous support to the Shai State and for contributing to the successful celebration of the Ngmayem Festival.

Following the presentation, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, in the company of the District Chief Executive, chiefs, elders, and members of the Council, proceeded to the Dodowa Forest to inspect ongoing works. The inspection provided an opportunity to assess the level of progress and reaffirmed Government’s commitment to the development of the Shai-Osudoku District.
