Ghana Stock Exchange allays fears on the bourse

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) has assured the general investing public that it has put in place measures to ensure continuous trading on the market.

In a press statement copied to Businessweekghana.com, the GSE reiterated that it operates its market on an Automated Trading System (ATS) which brokers trade on via the internet and a Wide Area Network (WAN). “The Exchange also has a Disaster Recovery Site (DRS) which allows seamless business continuity when the need arises,” it emphasized.

The GSE further entreated the general public to adhere to the general guidelines on precautionary measures provided by the Ghana Health Service.

“The Exchange is closely monitoring the national and global situation and will update the public accordingly,” it said.
