CHAN 2022: Moroccan team at Rabat Airport waiting authorization from Algeria to take the flight

Morocco’s national football team is currently at Rabat airport awaiting authorization from Algeria to travel to that country to participate in CHAN.

The President of FIFA and that of CAF have just arrived at Rabat airport.

Previously, information circulated on the media concerning Morocco’s withdrawal from Chan, without however cross-checking or verifying this information.

Morocco, reigning champion of the African Nations Championship for Championships (CHAN), is determined to participate in the Chan to defend its title. His team is now at Rabat-Sale airport awaiting authorization from Algeria to fly directly to Constantine.

Algiers, in its blind policy of hostility to the Kingdom, mixes politics and sport to prevent Moroccan team from taking part in this sporting event.
