Sources close to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the committee decided that the jersey worn by the players of the Moroccan football club Renaissance Sportive de Berkane complies with the statutes and regulations of the CAF.

The Renaissance Sportive de Berkane club is authorized to use its jerseys during the match which will take place in Algiers.

In this regard, the Algerian Football Federation was invited by CAF to take all necessary measures to facilitate the urgent handover to the Renaissance Sportive de Berkane of its sports equipment detained by Algerian customs in order to avoid disrupting the organizational aspects of the tomorrow’s football match against USM Alger.

Earlier, traveling to Algiers, to play the semi-final first leg of the African Football Confederation Cup (CAF) against the club of the Algiers Medina Sports Union (USMA), scheduled for Sunday April 21, the Renaissance sportive from Berkane was banned from entering Algerian territory.
