The Ministry of Youth and Sports says the newly launched Brich Hub for Information Technology and Entrepreneurship Training in the country would be given the support to become a national asset.
According to the Ministry, whatever would enhance youth development and create employment for the teeming youth in the country would be encouraged and given the needed support for national benefit.
We therefore, believe that the opening of this facility will be the beginning of engagements between the Ministry and BRICH HUB. We will ensure to give our maximum support to this idea and make thrive as a national asset,” the Ministry disclosed.
Speaking at the launching and grand opening of Brich Hub situated at Tabora No5 in Accra yesterday, the Director for Human Resource at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Eric Osei-Bonsu who spoke on behalf of the Minster indicated that government also takes keen interest in technology and would support any such move as Brich Hub.
He said the Government of Ghana (GoG) has always believed in the Private Sector as a key partner in the growth of the economy and as a Ministry responsible for youth development any initiative in line with this is welcomed.
He further stated “we see the future of this initiative as a help in developing the youth in this country. The Ministry is mandated to form Youth and Sports policies as well as coordinate, evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of the sector to achieve national integration and international recognition.”
The President of Brich Hub, Richmond Asumadu in his address stated that solving societal problems is key on the agenda of Brich Hub through empowering training programs, mentorship among others.
All what we desire is to create jobs and empower the youth. Through the journey we have been able to introduce solutions like GPS Brich Vehicle Security System where we secure cars so that armed robbers or thieves cannot snatch them from you,” he stated.

He continued that Brich has also “introduced one child one tablet because we believe technology is the order of the day and these tablets are loaded with learning contents.”
The President of Brich Hub also disclosed that Brich Company also has an E-Commence Platform called TuatuaGye.
Asumadu stated that Brich Bub is a Ghanaian based technology firm that is more into solving societal problems through technology.
