Prof. Michael Subbey, a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Education Winneba, has stressed the significance of parents providing love, time, and attention to their children, acknowledging that material provisions alone are insufficient.
Prof. Subbey highlighted the importance of open communication, trust, and a shared vision in building strong parent-child relationships.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Mends Academy in Bujumbura in the central region in August 3, 2024, he emphasized that parents who demonstrate love, care, and commitment serve as role models, sharing valuable life lessons and fostering an environment where children feel comfortable seeking guidance.
