As part of the 2024 SME Month celebrations, MTN is organizing a vibrant fair at the Tetteh Quashie Roundabout near the Accra Mall from today July 18-20th.
The event, orchestrated by MTN Business, has brought together hundreds of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to showcase their products and services.
Mohammed Abubakari-Sidick, Senior Manager of Business Sales at MTN, encouraged SMEs to participate in all the activities planned for the month and leverage the opportunities created by MTN Business.
We urge all stakeholders to support the growth of Ghana’s SME sector by patronizing their goods and services, enabling them to grow their businesses and make them more sustainable,” he advised.
Emelia Ameka, Marketing Manager for Eassy Foods, expressed gratitude to MTN Business for putting the fair together.
It has been beneficial, last year we had a lot of engagements and sales and we are looking forward to bigger opportunities this year,” she noted.
A series of initiatives and activities have been planned for the month, including pop-up shops, market activations, customer visits, training and development programs, and a business hackathon at the Africa Business Innovation Forum.
The event aims to support the growth of Ghana’s SME sector by providing a platform for businesses to connect with customers, partners, and investors.
SME owners expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities presented by the fair, citing valuable networking and feedback from attendees.
The theme for SME Month is “Business done Smarter, Faster, and Better.”
