Madam Rita Ofoli – Tswasam , PTA chairperson and keynote speaker at LIMS Preparatory School, has inspired graduates to embrace a mindset of continuous growth and learning.
Her address centered on the theme “Growing minds, shaping the future,” urging students to think critically, ask questions, and seek new experiences.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony of LIMS Preparatory School in Dodowa, Ghana, Ofoli – Tswasam encouraged the graduates to believe in themselves and their abilities, emphasizing that growth is a lifelong journey.
She stressed the importance of staying curious, open-minded, and committed to learning, even in the face of challenges.
By embracing this mindset, Ofoli – Tswasam empowered the graduates to take ownership of their learning and unlock new opportunities.
The headmaster, Joseph Achea, celebrated the graduants’ achievements, saying, “Today, we reward and share in their joy. From humble beginnings in 2003 with just a few learners in crèche and nursery, our school has grown to enroll 340 students up to JHS3. Our motto, ‘Knowledge is power,’ drives us to achieve our objectives.”
Achea urged parents to share ideas to grow the school and be part of community development.
He also encouraged the students to aim higher, saying, “Become leaders and make your mark in gold. The world needs your talents and skills to make a positive impact.”
Speaking on behalf of the graduants, Eyram Dzokoto expressed their collective dream of making a positive impact in the world.
We have a dream that is bright, and we have worked hard to achieve this milestone. We will use our skills and knowledge to make a difference in all that we do and make the world a better place,” she noted.
Dzokoto thanked the teachers for their encouragement and perseverance, saying, “Your guidance has been invaluable, and we appreciate your support.”
