Govt extends free water policy to December

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced an extension of the free water policy to all households until December 2020.

The president made the announcement during his 19th covid-19 televised briefing on measures taken against the spread of corona virus, last night.

Government has extended the policy of free access to water to all households until December, as well as fully absorbing full electricity bills for one million active lifeline customers for the same period,” he said.

This, according to him, is part of efforts to mitigate the effects of the pandemic on ordinary Ghanaians and businesses.
