GOIL has announced the appointment of Philomena Sam as a Board Member of the company effective November 17, 2019.
Sam replaces Patrick A.K Akorli who resigned from the Board on May 31 May, 2019.
In a released from the Ghana Stock Exchange copied to Businessweekghana, it stated that Madam Sam is a business executive and private entrepreneur with over 30 years combined experience running business in both Ghana and the USA. “She has held the position of a Managing Director in over five companies and has built diverse teams over the period,” it noted.
According to the statement, she has also developed the capacity to provide excellent team leadership and organizational management at a very high level
Sam has a solid experience in business policy development and execution of environments. “She is passionate about poverty eradication and employment creation” the release stated.
