Emirates travel experience awaits Ghanaians

Emirates currently operates a daily non-stop service between Dubai and Accra and this daily service from Dubai to Accra extends to/from Abidjan operating with a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft.

It features Emirates award winning inflight entertainment, ICE – (information, communication, showcasing local Ghanaian films among others and the highest level of comfort in all three cabins notably the first, business and economy.

Emirates Country Manager, Cathy Wesley made this known to journalists at a media round table meeting in Accra.

Ghanaians have the opportunity to enjoy the award winning comfort and service and a carefully curated services to ensure customer satisfaction and delivered friendly cabin crew representing over 160 nationalities on board with modern and efficient fleet of over 140 Boeing 777s for customer satisfaction”, the Country Manager said.

She announced that management operates to almost 130 passengers destinations and uses an entire fleet of over 140 Boeing 777s and 75 A380s, adding, Emirates operates to 132 destinations by December, 2022 and said “by the end of the year management will be operating 85 A380s.

Today the airline is deploying more than 1.1 million seats network-wide per week in relations with surging demand for international travel representing more than 70 percent of pre-pandemic capacity”, Cathy Wesley said.

According to her, premium economy is the latest product they have introduced aboard with some select A380 routes and explained that the service is not being offered on Ghana route but yet Ghanaians can still experience this service when travelling on their popular A380 routes to London, Paris and Sydney through Dubai.

She said, customers must look forward to a dedicated check in area for premium economy at Dubai international airport or utilise one of the many convenient self-service in kiosks in the hall to avoid queues, and said that from the 1st of May to 30th September, 2022, Emirates passengers will enjoy exclusive offers at over 500 locations in Dubai simply by showing their Emirates boarding pass.

Emirates showcases Ghanaian local dishes on board flights from Ghana in all 3 cabins including business and economy as passengers have option to choose from a selection of meals as requested for at least 24 hours before departure with regards to suit medical, dietary or religious requirements,” she said, adding that Ghanaian dishes like fante fante sauce and salmon with “kpakpo shito” are featured in their menu.
