The Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana has extended its warmest congratulations to Madam Jemilat Jawulah Mahamah and Madam Esther Gyebi Donkor on their appointment as Board Chairperson and Board Member of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA), respectively.

Madam Mahamah’s appointment as the first woman to hold the position of GMA Board Chairperson is a testament to her visionary leadership and outstanding track record in maritime governance and trade facilitation.
As the General Secretary of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) International, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
Madam Donkor, with over three decades of experience in the maritime industry, has served in various leadership roles at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), including General Manager in charge of Marketing and Public Relations.
Her dedication to stakeholder engagement and strategic marketing has significantly contributed to the growth of Ghana’s port infrastructure and operations.
